These three shots of Mount Baker taken on another morning made it worthwhile going to work early.

Here are bears I met at the construction site where I was working  in the 2013 Spring.  The male came up from the ravine first and waited for me to collect my camera.
I approached to about 100 feet and she moved off to his right.  The female came up a few seconds behind him.  See her nose is all yellow; I guessed from foraging around in the dandelions or buttercups.  They waited, watched me for a few moments and then carried on.
A few weeks after I met 'the Blacks', one of my customers shot this picture of Momma and her two cubs.  I eagerly watched for them each day I arrived at work. Then exactly where I parked my car, I found their scat.  This seemed to be a message, telling me "we know where you are" and showing me their menu -   probably salmon berries and other fruits.  Not many Dandelions.
