Robbie Burns Night Potluck

Robert  Burns   Jan. 25, 1759 - July 21, 1796
        Scottish Poet died at 37 years old
Burns cottage in Alloway, Ayrshire, Scotland
Invited professional, award winning storyteller, Mary Gavan, made the Address to the Haggis,
and entertained everyone with several enjoyable stories. She is a best friend of  the Turners.

Here are a few pictures of our Burns Night. The one shot of Mary Gavan (our
best friend) enthralling the audience with her story-telling is priceless.
She addressed the Haggis too--but I got so caught up in her telling of the
it, that I forgot to take pictures!!!  And with her waving the sword too!!

Bob Thomson also contributed some mushy peas and to die for Scotch eggs, which I wished I would have also taken a picture. They were delicious!!
